Lawrence Jackson Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Lawrence "Larry" Jackson, 93, of Williamsburg, passed away on August 27, 2015 at the Hospice and Support Care of Williamsburg. He was born on August 9, 1922 to the late Harry and Sarah Brown Jackson in New York City. Mr. Jackson was a veteran, having served in the Navy in WWII and 26 years of Civil Service. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Hill Jackson, two daughters, Pattie (Larry) Wolf of Littleton, CO, Mary Ann (Steve) Forrest of Chesapeake, VA; Son, Bill Jackson of Williamsburg, VA; two Granddaughters, Sarah Feinman of Denver, CO, Stephanie Forrest of Chesapeake, VA; two Grandsons, Cody (Bessy) Wolf of Littleton, CO, James Forrest of Fairfax, VA; two Great-grandsons, Mason Wolf, Wyatt Wolf; and his Great-granddaughter, Avery Wolf. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Martins Episcopal Church in Williamsburg, VA, followed by a reception at First Colony Clubhouse. Burial will be at Arlington at a later date. Bucktrout Funeral Home of Williamsburg, VA is entrusted with arrangements for the Jackson family and online condolences can be directed to the family by visiting www.bucktroutfuneralhome.net.
