Ida Rosina Shiney passed away peacefully Dec. 2, 2010 surrounded by her children and grandchildren to enter the loving arms of her Lord.
Born March 6, 1923 in Hazen, N.D., to Magdalena and Ferdinand Rahn, Ida was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. She worked as a teller at Bank of America for 45 years, before suffering from a stroke. For the past five and a half years of her life she was lovingly cared for by Malis Place in Camarillo.
Ida is survived by her children, Candra and husband Fred Norris, Michael and wife Kathleen Shiney, Bruce and wife Susan Shiney; and her five grandchildren, Rick and wife Sheryl Norris, Rebecca and husband Mark Modglin, Matthew Shiney, Meredith Shiney and Bradley Shiney.
Memorial services were held Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at Ascension Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, where she had been an active member. Interment was at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Arrangements were under the direction of Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory, 2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012, 482-1959.

I STILL CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE NO LONGER WITH US. I KNOW IT WAS A WHILE SINCE I GOT OVER TO SEE YOU, BUT I ALWAYS KNEW YOU WERE THERE. I THINK OF YOU EVERY NIGHT AND IT MAKES ME CRY THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER WITH US. I KNOW YOU ARE RESTING NOW BUT I WILL FOREVER AND EVER MISS YOU. I LOVE YOU JJ KNAPP
