Doshia Evelyn George age 88 went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2015. She was born in Braggs, Oklahoma to Odie W. and Bessie (Smith) Railey. She met her husband Julius while he was in the Army and were married 61 years. This hard working lady loved being outdoors. She spent most of her working life as a farm laborer and in her later years was a home care provider. Doshia loved taking care of "her little old people." (She was older than many of the people she cared for.) Doshia went the extra-mile with them and often spent long hours with them near the end of their lives. Doshia loved and cared for them unconditionally and grieved heavily when one of them passed on. She loved her family and especially loved cooking for them. If you left her table hungry, it was your own fault. Doshia always had more than we could eat. She liked Southern Style cooking and her specialty was Okie Biscuits and gravy (even though the biscuits never turned out "fit to eat" because of that "darn old stove). If there is cooking in heaven, there will be a crowd at her breakfast table to sample those biscuits and gravy. Doshia is survived by her son Albert and his wife Laurel of Woodlake, daughter-in-law Ruth Ann Luallin of Riverdale, granddaughters Brenda and her husband Jerry Reimer of Clovis, Becky and her husband Paul Binnquist of Costa Mesa, Barbara and her husband Collin Thomson of Costa Mesa, Lee Ann and Patrick Richards of Phoenix, Arizona, grandson Chad and his wife Denise of Modesto, 16 great grandchildren and many relatives and a number of friends. Doshia was preceded in death by her loving husband Julius George, parents Odie W. Railey and Bessie Railey. Also preceding her is her son Arnold George, her four brothers, Hershel Railey, Thurman Railey, Carol Railey and Harold Railey; her sisters Pauline Scroggins and Syldith Coley.
