My condolences to the Winslow family in your loss of your endearing husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. I am classmate of Jeffrey's from St. Gabriel's back in 1973. We connected on Facebook and planned to have a reunion after thiry something years the day after Thanksgiving.
Jeffrey, or Moose as we called him, was a leader in our class and everyone respected him. He was trustworthy and down to earth. He always had a calm disposition.
I offer my condolences to the Winslow family in this time of sorrow. If there is anything I can ever do, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hey big brother just can't believe that your gone. I know your journey up to where you belong is joyful, peaceful and restful and relaxing. RIP in Peace my big, loving brother, until we meet again. You touched so many lives and this was evident at your funeral. I'm sure a lot of people didn't know or could not attend your funeral or else there would have been many many many more. Love Dorothea

My memories of Jeffrey go all the way back to when he spelled his name JEFFERY. I remember all of the family trying to get him to stop sucking his index finger which looked as if it would drop off any minute! Jeffrey was a GREAT cousin. He was quite animated and active as a child. He broke his leg when climbing on a cabinet and had to be in a cast for months. I went with him when it was cut off and he was ready to run and jump again but it took a while to do so. I just spoke with him in depth a few months ago and he expressed much to be that will remain private but he persevered and remained in The Lord until the end which makes us all proud of him. Rest in the arms of The Lord, Jeff...we LOVE you!!! Kathy Maria Mosley Settles

Dear Family,
Through the course of this year Winslow and I became phone buddies and had some very intimate talks and from them I learned that he was indeed a “Selfless Man” always putting others first… He was definitely down to earth but more importantly he was a devoted brother, father, son, and husband.
So when I learned that he had unexpectedly died earlier this week my heart broke into pieces and I can ONLY imagine the depth of your sorrow.
I wish I had words to comfort and uphold you in your grief, but I know there are none that will take away any pain you are feeling now.
He will truly be missed.

May God bless and keep your family during this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of getting to know Jeff while I was working as part of the culinary ministry at Carolina Missionary Baptist Church. Jeff was one of the most down to earth and funniest person's that you could ever meet. He would always have me laughing. Rest in peace.

This was my big brother, I could always call him and express whatever I felt and he would listen. He always gave it to me straight, whether I liked it or not. Although we didn't hang out a lot, or come over to each other houses a lot, he was my phone buddy. Always a phone call away, you are going to always be in my heart. I wish I could have been there for my nephew at the time when God was calling you home, but I'll make sure to always check on him, and be there for him no matter what in Memory of You. Love you forever and ever. Your Little Sister Dorothea RIP big brother.

My hearfelt condolences to the Winslow family. I had the good furtune to grow up in the same neighborhood with Jeff. Jeff was not just a neighbor, he was the kind of guy who enbraced people and his community and he could be count on to do the right thing. He did not mind stepping in to give good advise or correct a kid. He selflessly got involved to make a diffrence. I have not seen him in years however, when ever I did he was always happy, respectful and inquired about my family. What a positive example of a good guy. The community has lost a great person. Rest in peace Jeff.
