On Saturday, December 31, 2011, of Upper Marlboro, loving father of Lamont R. Watkins, Chrystal R. Kemp, Michelle Y. Watkins, and Angela Y. Whitehead; brother of Maude Jennings; cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Greater Mount Nebo A.M.E. Church, 1001 Old Mitchellville Road, Bowie, MD 20716, on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
