Cappy was a treasure to us at the Sebago Lake Condominiums in Windham, Maine, in more ways than I can count. His knowledge and ability to fix or improve something saved us tons of money. He was an unforgettable character, but he was our dear unforgettable character. We will miss him very much. Let me know if I can help you when I get back, Grace.

Grace, May knowing you are in the hearts and thoughts of others help you through this difficult time. Cappy will always be as close as a memory. He was truly an original; one of a kind. The world is a better place because he was in it. He was a true friend to so many and I count myself among them. May today's sorrow give way to the peace and comfort of God's love. Mel Munroe

So sorry for your loss. What a good long life Cappy enjoyed. So many cannot say the same. He was one of those the Bible call especially strong. Ps. 90:10

Gracie, please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of Cappy. He was always there when we had a problem with the ferry or when a deckhand didn't show up. He was a real treasure to Frye Island in so many ways. I am very proud to have had the honor of having Cappy as a friend. Take care. Bill Mulkern, former Frye Island Ferry captain.

So many fun memories of Cappy in Kitty Walsh"s kitchen. There was always a dessert and a few jobs for Cappy to do.
Thanks , Cappy

To Grace and Family:
It was my great priviledge, pleasure, and even honor to have known and associate with "Cappy" during the time I worked for Frye Island from 1985 to 2005. Cappy was one of the most giving persons I have ever met, always ready to offer a hand, but only offering advice when asked, but one had better be ready for that advice! His talents were many, and humor unique to Cappy. Many were the times when his words brightened a tough situation.
God Bless and God rest your soul in Peace Cappy. The world and Frye Island are much better places for your having been in it.
