What a sad day. Mrs McKinney was the BEST teacher I ever had!!! I learned to enjoy listening and reading Shakespeare.
I will always remember, as the classroom door shut, her first words always: "First word..."

To the McKenney family

May God be with you during this difficult time and for the rest of your lives. We learned very much from her and Mr. McKenney at Jackson Memorial High School. We feel very blessed to have been their students.

Please accept my condolences. Mrs. McKenney was my English teacher at Jackson Memorial H.S. I am a 1959 graduate. I enjoyed her classes and admired her dedication and her sense of humor. She was a tough teacher and I am glad she was. .

Dear Katie, Jack, Honey and John
There are no word to tell you how much your mother meant to me. She was my English teacher for 3 years and my homeroom teacher. She is the reason I became a teacher. I tried very hard to be to my students what she was to me.
All of you are in my thoughts today.
