Ola Blevins Pennington

Pennington Ola Blevins Pennington, 94, died Friday, Oct.1, 2010 in Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie. She was the daughter of Donald and Frances Stamper Osborne and was a member of South Fork Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Lacy Blevins and Dayton Pennington, and two brothers, Reeves Osborne and Ernest Osborne. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Bill Robbins of Marion; one sister, Iva Witten of Marion; two grandsons, Larry Robbins and wife, Kim, of Marion and Jeff Robbins and fianc‚e, Marci Blackstock of Black Mountain, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Robbins of Atlanta, Ga., and Crystal Davis-Robbins Tarditti and husband, Juan, of Durango, Colo.; a special cousin, Kathleen Powers; a special nephew, Robert Osborne and wife, Ruth; and many special friends. Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, at Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Bobby Blevins, the Rev. Jerry Creasy and the Rev. Mark Totten officiating. The family received friends Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion.
