Albert Ordway Obituary

Albert S. Ordway Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Albert Stillwell Ordway Jr., 68, passed away June 17, 2009. Albert was born in Portsmouth to the late Albert S. Ordway Sr. and Constance I. Cahill. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Ordway enjoyed participating in activities sponsored by Atria Senior Living Group and was an avid horseman. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Constance L. Hopson and husband David W. Hopson; nieces, Susan Ordway, Carol Anne Watson, Davette Lewis, and Haley Marie Smith. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 27, in Knotts Island Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Pastor Frank Jennings. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be give to the American Cancer Society. Twifords Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
