Sadie Rathfon-Erb Obituary

Sadie Rathfon-Erb NORFOLK - Sadie Ann Rathfon-Erb, 55, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009. She was born Feb. 8, 1954 to Glenn and Clara Rathfon in Lewisburg, Pa. She was a manager with UPS. She leaves behind her loving husband, Michael; two children, Tom and Cara; three grandchildren, Miranda, Shane Lee and Alyssa; brother, Glenn; sister, Carrie and brother-in-law, Jack; sister-in-law, Sandy; nephew, John; goddaughter, Rosa, godsons, Brady and Wesley; her dogs, Willie and Mason; stepfather, Sonny. The visitation will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Saturday, Oct. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. The final resting place and services will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill, Pa. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer.com.

I have very fond memories of Sadie from high school. She was a free spirit who touched deeply those with whom she came into contact. My most sincere sympathy to her family.
