Joan Boyle Obituary

Joan Ann Boyle VIRGINIA BEACH - Joan Ann Boyle, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep Oct. 13, 2009. She was born in Girardville, Pa., the daughter of Mary and John Scully and spent many happy years in Philadelphia. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Frank R. Boyle; her son, Morgan F. Boyle and grandson Morgan A. Boyle of Chesapeake; daughter, Maureen Boyle of Philadelphia; daughter, Nell Boyle of Virginia Beach; daughter, Melissa A. Aronson and her husband Douglas P. Aronson of Norfolk; daughter, Megan Boyle Larkin, her husband Kurt G. Larkin and grandchildren, Patrick Francis and Katie Logan of Richmond. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. at Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, 1485 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. James Griffin. A private burial will be held in Ashland, Pa. Condolences may be offered to the family at www. hollomon-brown.com.
