As a neighbor, I first met the Carters in 2003 after moving here. I spoke with Mr. and Mrs. Carter frequently on their porch and often had my 3 yr old, Cameron (who Mr. Carter referred to as "Buddy") with me. I always went away learning something new from Mr. Carter. Cameron always looked for the Carters to be out so we could go over and see them. He will be missed as a neighbor but mostly as a friend.

Herbert was a fantastic neighbour and friend. He never complained. His love for his wife was evident, as was his love for the Lord.

Virginia, I was so sorry to hear the news of Herbert's passing. Herbert was such an interesting person. My dad, Wallace Carter, enjoyed reconnecting with Herbert after many years. They shared great memories of their grandparents. Herbert will always be remembered....
