Jack Hull Obituary

Jack E. Hull VIRGINIA BEACH - Jack E. Hull, 80, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2010. He was born April 28, 1929 in Mount Airy, N.C. Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired in 1974 as a lieutenant commander after 24 years of service. He fought for his country in the Vietnam War. He was employed by VSE Corporation for several years. He was a member of the VFW Post 4809, Fleet Reserve Association Branch 5, the Military Officers Association and the Norfolk Moose Lodge 39. He is survived by three daughters, Janice Floyd and her husband Allen of Virginia Beach, Cathy Louk and her husband Dwayne of Norfolk, Carol Mercier and her husband Gary of Virginia Beach; five grandsons; and one great-grandson. He will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 26, at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Daniel Davey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, VA 23513. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. altmeyer.com.
