I've been removed from the Tidewater area since 2009 and was sadden to hear of Dennis' passing. I owe him a career I would have never imagined and remain thankful to this day. Dennis was one of the finest people I ever knew, and although I paths rarely crossed after the late 80'sHe was a good man and improved everyone's lives he touched. God bless you and care for you sir.

Patti, Adam, Josh, Matthew, Stan, Shannon, Margie and families – Dennis came to our last two reunions for the “Class of 1964” and it was wonderful to be able to see and talk to him again, and reminisce about growing up in Wheelwright. He talked about his wife and family, and how proud he was of his sons. He showed me a special commendation from Virginia Commonwealth University where he played basketball.
