Kathleen Lael VIRGINIA BEACH - Kathleen Diane Nance Lael passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at the age of 44. She was predeceased by her father, Marcum Nance Jr. She is survived by her husband, Michael Lael; her children, Kimberly Phelps, Michael Lael, Brittany Lael, Nichole Lael, and Michaela Lael; her grandchildren, Bryan, Morgan, Bryce and Shawn; her mother, Dorothy Nance; and her siblings, Rebecca Tice, Yvonne Mitchell, Marcum Nance III and Carrie Puglisi. A funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Greenwich Road Chapel, with the Rev. Rob Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Samaritan House, 2620 Southern Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Condolences may be made to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
