Larry Michael Mills

1949 - 2009

Larry Michael Mills, 59, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. He was born on December 2, 1949, in Norfolk, son of the late Casabianca and Mary P. Mills. His aunt, Lula Wyatt, also preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Erica Ellen Mills, of North Carolina; sister, Maria Angela Vann, of Roanoke; three brothers, Ronald A. Mills and his wife, Alice, of Clifton Forge, Harold Kenneth Mills and his wife, Ginger, of Crawfordsville, Fla., and Casey Mills Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Martinez, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. His brother, Mr. Ronald A. Mills, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Plunkett Family Cemetery in Franklin County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 540-982-2221.
