Milton Hogan Obituary

Milton Thomas Hogan, 84, of Cloverdale, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2009, surrounded by the love and support of his family. Milton was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II and was a proud N&W Railroad employee for more than 30 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles O. and Minnie L. Hogan; and a brother, Randolph Hogan. Milton is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gerolda "Louise" Hogan; son, Thomas "Wayne" Hogan and his wife, Mary Margaret; daughter, Angela "Carole" McCormack and her companion, James Keeler; former daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Clark; former son-inlaw, Gary Hansbrough; grandsons, Thomas Wayne Hogan II and his wife, Amy, and Jeffrey Norwood Hogan and his wife, Amy, Sean Alan Hansbrough and wife, Katie; granddaughter, Shannon Lee Hogan; great-grandsons, Conor Thomas, Joseph Quinn and Ethan Kincaid Hogan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Friends are welcome to call Sunday, August 30, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Rd., Daleville, where a service celebrating Milton's life will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Rader's Chapel. Interment at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Daleville, Va.

We will miss this kind man with his sweet shy smile and bright eyes. He was such a pleasure and would light up our day when he came into our office.
