Dear Lowell,Barbara,Andrea&Carolyn Pops was a special person and I enjoyed every moment when we went out to eat and when I would go down and clean his house. He would talk about his girls going fishing and doing things together. He loved picking on Barbara and going hunting with Lowell. You all had a great father, grandfather and I know it will be hard for awhile but always remember the good times you had with him. Iloved pops and will always remember our good times together,he was a dear friend to me. Love, Vickie Hodges

Dear Lowell, Andrea, & Carolyn,
Papaw and Mamaw Brown loved the three of you with every ounch of their being.
Their love was so complete and genuine and such an asset to me because they were invaluable to me through the years but especially when you girls were small. It was such a blessing to have one of them meet me at Mitchell's store in the mornings to take care of you when you were sick and I needed to go to work. I knew you would be well taken care of and well spoiled until I picked you up after school. Most days they would have fixed our supper as well.
I will be eternally grateful for their help in taking such good care of you through the years...(Mom)

Lowell and Bobby,
I am so grateful that you returned their love by taking such good care of both of them during their last days when they were sickly and needed someone to care for them.

We remember Papaw and Mamaw as a couple who deeply loved their family, and we know you will miss Papaw as you miss Mamaw and we are sorry for your loss.
The blessing is that now they are together in Heaven with no more pain or misery. Remember the happy, loving times.

All our love,
Terry and Judy

Lowell, Andrea, Carolyn and the rest of the Brown Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Brownie's passing. He was a dear friend to my Uncle's Olander and Lester Fralin as well as my Grandmother Ethel Fralin Perdue. He was a good-hearted soul with a quick sense of humor, which kept us in stitches. He helped so many people in the area over the years and was a permanent fixture to the Union Hall crew. I cannot think about the cast of characters who frequented Glen and Nancy's Store and not think of Brownie. Some of my fondest memories of Brownie are listening to music at the cabin, or being privy to the conversation that he, Gertrude Mattox and Granny were having over an afternoon toddy in Gertrude's kitchen, or dancing in my Grandmother's living room. I hope that while your hearts are healing that you are able to find solace in the wonderful life he lived and the joy that he brought to so many. All of Ethel's family will be thinking about you and keeping you in our prayers.

Much love to you all,
Jade Kelly
