WILLIAM KING Obituary

Olive Branch - William J. King “Coot”, 91, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on April 29, 2013. He was an Army WWII Veteran. Mr. King was devoted to his family, loved to garden and had award winning yards. He was a retired driver from MATA. Mr. King was preceded in death by his wives Betty Jane King and Polly Allen King, a son, Buck King, and a brother, John King. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Green (Jim), a son, Greg King (Debbie), a sister, Montene Sitzler, three brothers, Gaylon King, Wayne King, and Joe King, also a sister-in-law Nancy Jamison(Billy), seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd. Memphis TN. Memorial Park Funeral Home, "Behind the stone wall", 901-767-8930.
