I am glad to have the opportunity to add my voice to the many that Dr Beusse touched. He was a very special man and a gentle, dedicated vet. He came into our family's life back in the 70's and he cared for our many pets and more than that he taught us to love and care for the pets with respect. He "scolded" me more than once when he didn't feel like I had done the right things and one of the furbabies suffered for it. I followed Dr Porter to Kirkman Rd and soon we had the priviledge of seeing Dr Beusse when he worked there part time. My husband and children all thought so highly of Dr Beusse and we carry some of his high standards in caring for our pets to this day. We will miss him and instead of dwelling on the emptiness he leaves I will think of the thousands of people he helped and how they, too are taking better care of their pets because of Dr Beusse. While working in a doctor's office several years ago I was helping a patient and she mentioned working at Sea World. I asked her if she knew Dr Beusse and she said "Oh yes, and he was the best teacher, I learned so much from him!" I picture him surrounded by all the animals that have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and it makes me smile through me tears. Thanks, Mrs Beusse for sharing him will so many animal loves.

My heart goes out to the entire Beusse family and extended family and friends. Deke was truly one-of-a-kind, and although I didn't know him all that well, I am grateful to have known what I did of a gentle and inspirational man.
