Nam “Sandy” Moore died October 23, 2024, at home in Houston surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 30, 1949, in Daegu, South Korea to the late Pae Sang-Dong and Pae Eul-Saeng.
She lived and went to school in Daegu until she married Donald W. Tinsley. She then moved to the United States to start a family. She learned English and became a citizen. Donald unfortunately passed in 1983. She continued to raise her two daughters as a single mother until she met Tommy H. Moore. They were married in 1990. She stood by his side until his passing in 2013. She was a devoted Catholic that loved socializing with her friends. She loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing. But most of all, she was so proud of her family.
She is survived by her daughters Jenny Castillo and her husband Abdias of Elgin, TX; Stacey Dizon and her husband Davie of Houston, TX; and four grandchildren Oidni, Indio, Ouradon, and Mylinda.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Pae Yeong-Hawn, Pae Ki-Yeong, Pae Ki-Suk, and Pae Ki-Myeong.
She was preceded in death by her parents Pae Sang-Dong and Pae Eul-Saeng; brother Pae Ki-Su.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sandy’s viewing on Wednesday, October 30th from 5-7 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home 506 N. 38th St. Killeen, TX. Rosary will be prayed starting at 6:30 p.m. Her funeral mass will be on Thursday, October 31st at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church with Fr. Brian McMaster officiating. Interment to follow at precisely 11:00 a.m. at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery, Killeen.
