Andrew Adams, age 93 of Shelbyville, Kentucky formally of Knott County, passed away on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at his residence in Shelbyville, KY. He was born on October 4, 1931, in Pinetop, Kentucky to the late Rober "Bob" & Magnolia Bentley Adams. He was the husband to the late Marie Irene McBrayer-Adams. Andrew was an Army veteran, Team member of the 1948 Carr Creek Basketball who was the third-place team in the state championship, and a retired principle with the Glendale School District.
Andrew is survived by his Nieces & Nephews
Andrew is preceded in passing by his Wife- Marie Irene McBrayer-Adams; Parents- Robert "Bob" & Magnolia Bentley-Adams; Brothers- Jim Adams, Estil Adams, Web Adams, Sidney Adams, Tolbia Adams, Robert Adams, John Adams; Sisters- Flora Adams, Margaret Adams, Ellen Adams, Garnette Risner, Grace Webb. Andrew will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends Friday February 7, 2025 from 6PM-9PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, KY.
Funeral Services will be Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home chapel. Entombment will follow at the Bethel Memorial Mausoleum in Hindman, KY.

You gotta love hearing Uncle Andy's unique voice and his genuine laugh/chuckle at the beginning of this video! Makes me laugh with him... Our Aunt Marie (Andy's wife) will also make you laugh with her later in the video! I think of both of you often. You are missed! Thanks for the memories.
