Ann-Katrin Roth,
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and educator passed away at the age of 78 on April 19, 2023. Mrs. Roth was born on February 9, 1945, in Ornskoldsvik, Sweden to Ferdinand and Estrid Sundstom. She received her degree in Education from Tulane University in 1969. Mrs. Roth was a Math teacher at Broad Ripple High School from 1988-1994.
Active in the local community, Mrs. Roth was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, its Sisterhood, Hadassah, Vasa Order of America, The Faculty Women's Club at Indiana University School of Medicine, and was a founding member of the Embroidery Guild of America's Indiana Chapter.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Lawrence Max Roth; daughter, Karen Roth Hart (Donald Hankla); son, Rabbi David Josef Roth(Jessica Abrahams) and three grandchildren, Robert and Jason Hart and Benjamin Roth. Mrs. Roth also leaves behind a large extended network of friends and family in Sweden.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, 1:00p pm, at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road. The funeral may be viewed via live-stream. Click Here
The burial will be held in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Burial services will be livestreamed as well, please . Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah.
