Antonietta Benevento

Antonietta Benevento, 68, of West Orange passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family at St. Raphael Church, 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., immediately followed by the Mass at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
Arrangements are by Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, Caldwell, NJ
Born in Italy, daughter of Giovannina DiMuro and the late Osvaldo DiMuro, Mrs. Benevento lived in Orange before moving to West Orange more than 50 years ago.
She was a hair stylist and owner of The Pavilion Hair Salon in West Orange for many years. Mrs. Benevento was last employed at Glaze Salon in Chatham.
Mrs. Benevento was the loving wife of the late John Sr; devoted mother of John Benevento Jr. and his partner, Bert Brito, Giovanna Green and her husband James, and Rina Benevento and her partner Dave Reyes; dear sister of Concetta (Frank) Boscarino, Aureilo (Grace) DiMuro, Bruno (the late Barbara) DiMuro, Michael (Marghertia) DiMuro, Anna (Tommy) Davino, and the late Gennaro DiMuro, and cherished grandmother to John-John DelRosso, Rino DelRosso, Ava Green, and Camilo Ryes. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
