Archie married Pamela Joyce Bell in Lemont, Illinois on July 2, 1984; she died March 1, 2020. He worked for General Motors for 42 years, retiring in 2016. Archie enjoyed thrifting and riding motorcycles, but especially loved spending time with his grandkids. His favorite place to be was Shawnee National Forest in Illinois or the Current River in Missouri.
He is survived by his sons, Zachary (Kimmie) Patterson and Matthew (Chelsea) Patterson, both of Fort Wayne, and Raymond (Donna) Patterson of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jaclin (Logan) Parker, Madalyn Patterson, Jack Patterson, and Rory Patterson; three great grandchildren; and his siblings, Keith (Carol) Patterson, Barbara (Rick) Power, and Glenda (Edward) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his Mother; wife Pam, and his brother, Richard Patterson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 31, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Dylan Persinger officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Friday, at the funeral home.
