Funeral services for Mr. Benny Carl "Foots" Traylor of Talladega, 64, will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Terry's Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the funeral home.
Mr. Benny Carl Traylor was born on September 3, 1956, in Talladega, Alabama to Cleve Tanner and Elnora B. Fluker Green.
Mr. Traylor accepted Christ as his Savior and united with Shiloh Apostolic Church of Promise. He completed his education at Westside High School. Benny was known as "Foots" to many in the community. He could be found wondering about the west side of Talladega performing jobs such as raking leaves, helping neighbors with their garbage can on trash day, collecting cans and performed the duty of neighborhood security guard. He also enjoyed playing dominoes.
On the evening of Friday, November 27, 2020, Benny answered the Master's call. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleve Tanner; and three brothers, Willie Fluker, Larry Tanner and Andrew Green.
Benny leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Elnora B. Green of Talladega, Alabama; one sister, Linda Green (Frank) Murray of Talladega, Alabama; two brothers, Robert (Doris) Traylor of Talladega, Alabama and Richard (Nashay) Green of Oxford, Alabama; four nieces, Lenora (Acourtney) Lawson of Alpine, Alabama, Ashley Martin, Lisa Green and Gikia Green of Talladega, Alabama; one nephew, Tyrone (Marekea Lee) Green of Talladega, Alabama; special friends, Ronnie Merritt, Teiamber Lane, Margaret Davis, Amanda Calhoun, Steve Cook, Jimmy and Brenda Parker and Crystal Calhoun; and a host of many other family members and friends.
