Brenda Kay Perry Hunt, age 48 of Lumberton, NC passed away on August 21, 2023, after a sudden illness.
Brenda was born December 3, 1974, in Baltimore, MD. She was a daughter of Linwood Thomas Perry, Sr, and Belinda Gail Bell Perry. Brenda was a fun-loving person. She enjoyed watching movies, going to the park, and fishing. Brenda also had a love for all animals. Most of all, Brenda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Dwayne Hunt of the home; her parents, Linwood Thomas Perry, Sr. and Belinda Bell Perry, of Bennettsville; sons, Justin Smith (Allyson) of Lumberton, NC, and Tyler Smith (Sydney) of Bennettsville; a daughter, Mellissa Yarborough (Sean) of McColl; a brother, Linwood Perry, Jr. (Mary) of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Neata Herndon (Johnny) of Bennettsville; six grandchildren; and several other extended family members.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel.

I'm so sorry to hear about Brenda. She was a beautiful and sweet young lady. I'm so glad I got to know her when she was a young girl in Lansdowne she'll be greatly missed God bless you and your family and her family through these hard times.
