Bro. Jerry Crain Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Bro. Jerry Howard Crain, 81, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:30 P.M., Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Steve Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Thursday.
Bro. Crain died at his residence on January 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Bro. Crain was a member of Cypress St. Church of God in West Monroe, LA. He served in the ministry for over 50 years at various churches in North Louisiana. He was a veteran in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Mary Elaine Crain; sons, James Crain and John Crain and his wife Vickie; daughter, June Shastid; and granddaughter, Amanda Shastid.
Pallbearers will be Mike Tucker, Tim Kight, Marlon Mitchell, Adam Stevenson, Dale Green, and Neil Kirschenbaum.
Memorials may be made to Cypress St. Church of God, Northeast LA Food Bank, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
