We met in the summer of 1969. He'd just returned from Vietnam. He was fun, carefree and home from a terrible war - alive!! We were young and blissfully happy. We dated that entire summer through fall and became engaged on Christmas Eve 1969. We married in 1970, had Desiree (1970) and Matthew (1973). The marriage didn't last, but the love we shared for our children did. They are the greatest gifts he could've ever given to me and my greatest joys in life. I am eternally grateful to him for that. I got the chance to say goodbye when he was feeling pretty good and upbeat. That was a blessing for us both. Rest in peace sweet Bruce and Happiest of Birthdays to you on your day! Until we meet again, Roe

My uncle Bruce when I was 8 years old, he came to my house, this was probably in 1975 , unexpected and took me to my first Seattle Super Sonics game, I will never forget when he did this with me, I lost contact with him after those years, but the time I did get with him growing up he was a wonderful uncle, I´ll will always cherish the time I got to spend time with my uncle Bruce
