Cameron passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Cameron Lane Basham was born on June 16, 1987, in Dallas, TX, to parents Norman Dennis Basham and Mary Beth Mottwiler. He was raised in Mesquite where he attended school and later graduated from Wills Point High School Class of 2006. Cameron enlisted in the United States Air Force and later attended and graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, AZ. Cameron married Randilyn Pritchard on October 4, 2014, and they made their home in Forney raising their two daughters. He and Randilyn lived in Forney until moving to North East Tennessee in Morristown and later to Arkansas where his work took them. Cameron worked in Malvern, AR, until recently moving back to Wills Point to be near his family. He was working at Amazon in Forney as a Field Service Technician for Plug Power. Cameron was very talented and could repair anything. He loved his daughters dearly and was loved by so many family members and friends. Cameron was easy going, had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone who asked.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Cameron is survived by his father, Norman Basham of Wills Point, TX; mother, Mary "Beth" Marchetti of Garland, TX; daughters, Ileana Rayne Basham and Laynie Renee Basham of Benton, AR; brother, Justin Basham of Wills Point, TX; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home.

So very sorry--Beth was one of my very good friends for years when we worked together at UTSW. She knew my son, Banks well as sometimes he had to come to work with me and we had fun together watching over him--he so loved her. I know how much she loved her boys as we talked about them a lot. I did not know about this until now. I am so very sorry Beth. Banks died this Dec after a car accident. I feel better knowing your sweet baby is up there with mine. Love you. Susan Gilbert
