Deborah Kay Basham, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Deborah was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She trained dogs and was involved with the sheltie club for many years. loved doing her dog shows, shopping, and most importantly being with her family & friends. Deborah will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on September 2, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Barbara (Goff) Autrey. She is preceded in death by her Father, Edward Autrey, Mother, Barbara Autrey, and Daughter, Amanda Neuner.
Deborah is survived by her loving Husband of 36 years, David Andrew Basham, Sr., Children, Carolyn (Jimmy) Willis, David (Beverly) Basham, Jr., Tonia Basham, Stephanie Basham, Christina Peavler, 12 Grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, Sisters, Karen (Annette Campbell) Becker, Patricia (Richard) Rocha, Aunts, Linda Sue Cole and Diane Hall, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Deborah’s memory be made to The Jr. Handler Fund of Sheltie.
