Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville ChapelWilliam "Bill" Clark, Jr., age 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, left this world peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bill was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, embodying warmth and kindness in every relationship he nurtured. From 1978 to 1994, he co-managed Clark VW Imports in Louisville, where his passion for cars and connection with people shone through. After that chapter, he dedicated many years of service at JCPS in Transportation and Fleet Maintenance before entering retirement.
In his leisure time, Bill found joy in fishing, spending hours restoring cars, and cherishing moments with his beloved family and his faithful companion, Peanut. A man of many talents, Bill had an extraordinary gift for music; he could effortlessly play nearly any instrument that came his way. His infectious humor and delightful storytelling earned him the affectionate nickname "Wild Bill," and he could bring laughter to any gathering, often leaving his friends and family in stitches for hours.
Born on August 21, 1960, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Bill was the cherished son of William and Mary (Whitaker) Clark. He joins in eternal rest with his late mother, Mary Ann Stinebruner, and his loving wife, Yvette Clark.
Bill is survived by his adoring father, William Maurice (Anne) Clark, Sr.; his sister, Lisa Brown (Ben); his nephew, Damien Cox (Brittany); his niece, Ambria Gaus; and his great-nephews, Davyn, Darrien, and Jayden Cox, as well as his great-niece, Aislyn Cox. He is also remembered fondly by a wide network of extended family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
A visitation will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.
In honor of Bill's passionate heart for animals, the family requests that contributions be made in his memory to the Kentucky Humane Society.
