She Received her BSN from Loyola University, then went on to complete her master's degree in psychology. Sandra went on to have a long fulfilling career as a psychiatric nurse.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Robert, and her brother and sister in laws, Kathryn "Cissy" Risimini, Mary Ann Eckert, Katie Eckert, Pat Eckert, and Kenneth Howe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Brown (Charles), Rev. John Eckert, Richard Eckert, Ronald Eckert, Eugene Eckert, Virginia "Ginger" Howe, and Ralph Risimini
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at St. Brigid Catholic Church. Fr. Gary Padgett will preside. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the start of Mass on Saturday, at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mass of the Air, or the Gene Eckert Scholarship at Trinity High School.
