Carolyn Colaizzo

Carolyn Colaizzo (nee Kenney), 72 years old, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on January 6, 2023 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, with her family by her side.
Carolyn was born on December 28, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth Kenney, and sisters Elizabeth Clavin and Colleen Kenney. She worked previously as a proofreader for A Plus Letter Service in Lakewood, NJ, and held other positions as well throughout the years. She enjoyed spending time in upstate NY, and also enjoyed watching New York Mets baseball and New York Giants football games.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband John Colaizzo; daughter Kerri-Lynn Ambrosino; grandchildren Vincent and Grace Ambrosino; sisters Doreen Kenney-Andersen and her husband Gary Andersen, and Kathleen D'Onofrio and her husband John D'Onofrio; brothers-in-law Philip Clavin and Martin Colaizzo; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, NJ 08753, on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home; guests should arrive at 10:30 a.m. Chapel services then will conclude at Ocean County Memorial Park and Crematory, 1722 Silverton Rd., Toms River, NJ 08753.
