Annette Rosamilia, a true reflection of kindness and faith, left this world for her heavenly home on October 7, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on May 16, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey. She later relocated to Bloomfield, Manchester, and then to Toms River, NJ. Annette's life was a testament to her intelligence, creativity, and deep Christian values. She departed peacefully in Toms River, New Jersey, surrounded by the love of her family.
Annette was predeceased by her mother, Frances (nee Giaimis), her father, Stanley Tarasiewicz, her brother, Junior, and her ex-husband and best friend, Michael Rosamilia. Her life was enriched by her loving family, her adoring daughters, Kim Rosamilia and her fiancé Dave Manfra, and Lisa and Joseph Germino. Annette's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Rosamilia and his fiancé, Nour; Jillian Germino and her fiancé, Benjamin; Alexa Rosamilia; and Joey Germino, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Michael, Demitria, Souleiman, and Vincenzo; and also her nephew, Danny Tarasiewicz
Annette was a proud graduate of West Side High School in Newark, NJ.
Her professional life was marked by dedicated service at St. Barnabas Medical Center and Community Medical Center, where she worked as a Paramedical Abstractor in Tumor Registrar and a Radiology Transcriptionist. Her meticulous work and compassionate presence were a comfort to many throughout her career. She was also the owner of several sandwich shops and eateries throughout her life, and she enjoyed interacting daily with her many customers. She was never afraid of hard work.
Steadfast in her faith, Annette lived a life reflective of Christian values. Her spirit was marked by a quiet strength and an unwavering trust in God's plan, which inspired all who knew her.
Annette's interests were as varied as they were passionate. She loved music, and one of her many talents was playing the piano since she was 5 years old. Her love for the New York Yankees was unmatched, and she enjoyed watching baseball games, celebrating each victory with enthusiasm. An avid reader, Annette also had a fascination with the weather channel and astronomy, often sharing her knowledge and wonder of the universe with her family.
Her creative soul shone brightly as she taught a creative writing class for several years, nurturing the talents of budding writers. Annette's own writing, which included short stories and poetry, was a beautiful expression of her inner thoughts and imagination. Her love for trivia and Jeopardy was well known, and she was often the champion of family game nights.
Above all, Grammy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her dry sense of humor and stories will be missed but forever cherished in their hearts. Annette's life was a journey of love, learning, and faith. Her kind and intelligent presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we bid farewell to Annette Rosamilia, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that has undoubtedly found its eternal rest in the loving arms of the Lord. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire her family, friends, and all who were touched by her gracious life.
