Christopher Anthony Lloyd

Christopher Anthony Lloyd, age 63, of Barbeau, Michigan, died on December 31, 2023, at MyMichigan Health in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He was born on November 4, 1960, in Bangor, Michigan, to Willis Jr. and Jacqueline (Bergguist) Lloyd.
Christopher graduated with the Class of 1978 in Lansing, Michigan. After graduation he worked in the security systems industry while logging on the side and building log homes, which was his true passion. Christopher met Barbara Bush in 2011 through mutual friends and they married on December 29, 2023, at MyMichigan Health in Sault Ste. Marie.
Christopher loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was a legend in the logging industry. His nickname in the Upper Peninsula was "Paul Bunyan".
Christopher is survived by his wife, Barbara Bush-Lloyd of Barbeau; daughters, Sara (Michael) Clark of Munith, Michigan, and Becca (Paul) Sheldon of Albion, Michigan; sons, Dustin Lloyd (fiancé, Sarah) of Onondaga, Michigan, and Randy (Maeve) Tharp of West Hartford, Connecticut, Mark (Cynthia) Tharp of Morley, Michigan, and Brandon (Kayleigh) Miller of Allendale, Michigan; 20 grandchildren, with one on the way; brothers, Jeff Bergguist of South Dakota, Keith Bergguist of Florida; sister, Kathy Boes of Michigan; and brother Kenny Bergguist of North Carolina.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Jacqueline; grandson, Brandon Sheldon; and aunt, Phyllis Lloyd. He is now reunited with his best friends, Matt, and Troy and the 3 Musketeer's will hopefully behave themselves!
