Clarence Paul Jones

Wellford, SC – Clarence Paul Jones passed away at home on February 28, 2023 surrounded by his family. Paul was the son of the late John and Geraldine Jones and the loving husband of the late Michelle Jones.
Paul attended and worshiped his Lord and Savior at Bronson Road Church in Newberry, FL and served as leader of the senior group while there. Nicknamed K-LAB Jones, Paul retired from Eastman Kodak in New York after working many years in building 69, building 65, and building 326. Paul was a devoted and dedicated worker but when he wasn't working he loved to spend time with his family. He loved his great grandchildren dearly and was blessed to be able to hold all four of them as newborns before his passing.
Paul is survived by his children, Rebecca Chapman (David) and Martin Jones; his granddaughter, Rachael Gaines Rosemond (Codie); his great grandchildren, Logan, Phillip, Liam, and Katie Rosemond; his siblings, Ruth Mae Lothers and David Jones (Winnie); first generation nieces and nephews, Christine Simmons Hargarther (Dan), Mark Simmons (Lisa), Bobby Simmons (Ann Marie), Davy Jones (Nancy), Linda Laper (Vincent) Mary Lou Gordon, Michael Lothers (Laura) and John Lothers; as well as many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Clara Simmons and Ellen Jones; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Jones, Debbie Wech, and Catherine Simmons.
A memorial service will be held on March 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bronson Road Church in Newberry, FL.
