LAKE CITY – Mr. Daniel Vincent "Vince" Coker, 60, husband of Judi Melton Coker died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.
Born February 4, 1961, in Sumter, SC, he was a son of the late Dannie "Lucky" Durette Coker and the late Shirley Jean Daniels Coker. He was a member of the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a Mason and Shriner.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years; two sons, Tyler Vincent Coker of Florence and Daniel Boyington of Lake City; one daughter, Brittany Coker Jordan (Chad) of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren, Isla Ann Jordan and Liston Dale Jordan; two sisters, Michelle Coker Easler (Chuck)of Greeleyville and Sheila Coker Cole (Andy) of Wake Forest; Many loving nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Emaline Melton Filyaw; a special friend, Shay McKenzie; and Vince's four-legged companion, Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Richard "Ricky" Durette Coker.
A graveside service will be held 3 P.M. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Floyd officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Lucky Coker home, 1643 Lucky Road, Lake City, SC.
Memorials are requested to be made to the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3709 St. James Road, Lake City, SC 29560.
CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
