Daniel Sorice Obituary
, 89, of Jeannette, died Thursday, March 2, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 21, 1933, in Crabtree, a son of the late Delphio and Veronica Uhrin Sorice. Daniel was a member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Daniel worked in the Admissions Office as a Registrar for the Highland Drive VA Hospital for 30 years. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School. He enjoyed gardening, cutting grass, chopping wood and being outside. He liked sports and golfed and bowled for many years. Daniel served in the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, James Allen Sorice; a brother, Richard Sorice; and a sister, Joan Wotus. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carole Sue (Mook) Sorice of Jeannette; a son, Scott Sorice and wife Donna of Level Green, along with two grandchildren, Andrew and Heather Sorice; a brother, Ronald Sorice and wife Bonnie; a sister Veronica Elliott, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14051 Rt. 993, Trafford, PA 15085. Inurnment was in Plum Creek Cemetery, Pittsburgh. Daniel's family has entrusted his care to the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home Inc., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA
