Darryl B. Jaraczewski, 81, of Green Bay WI, passed surround by his loved ones, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 after a long battle of many illnesses.
Darryl was born on May 6, 1943. His parents were Barbara and Bernard Jaraczewski. He married his best friend and love of his life, Mary Ann on May 23, 1964. They were blessed with 3 children: Mark, Jeff, and Jody.
Darryl began his career at Hobbs where he moved up in management. In 1972, he began his career with KI (Krueger International) where he moved up the ladder to Vice President of Manufacturing. He loved his job and the people he worked with, as he made many friendships that he cherished deeply.
Darryl loved a good challenge and never gave up. He became a pilot, ran marathons, enjoyed bike riding, golfing, scuba diving, boating, and traveling. His favorite time was being with his family and friends. He cherished all the memories of Christmas, Thanksgiving and the holidays where he was able to spend time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife and his best friend of 60 years, Mary Ann, his children: Mark (Janine) and Jody, grandchildren: Zachary (Kayla), Jett, Niah, Jayden, and Blake, one great-grandchild, Leddy, and daughter-in-law, Christine. Darryl is further survived by many loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Jeff, his parents and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his close friends, Heather and Cory Brimcombe and Steve and Michelle Collins for their friendship, love and support. They would also like to thank the staff at Unity Hospice for their compassionate care.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340. S Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301) A memorial service will follow immediately at 11:00 am.
