Demetria was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ida Mae Lyons, Archie and Marion Bell; sister: Kimberly Mathis; aunt: Roslyn Bell; uncle: Victor Bell; nephew: Donell Mathis.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Sierra Tracy Townsend; mother: Doris Reese-Ramsey; father: Curtis Mathis; grandchildren: Ma'Khalyn Townsend, Breandyn Lino, Jaedyn Townsend; sisters: Robin Mathis, Vanessa Pope, Christine Love, Regina Ross, Gladys Forham; brothers: Victor Bell, Bryant Mathis, Marion Mathis.
Demetria enjoyed sewing, listening to music but most of all she loved spending time with family at gatherings. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and a friend who will be forever missed.
The family would like to especially thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Heatherdowns Rehabilitation Center, St. Vincents, Perrysburg Hospital Staff, Office of Aging, and a host of family and friends for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 831 N. Detroit Ave., Toledo, OH 43607 on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 12:00 P.M.
