Douglas E. Noon, age 64, of Carey, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at his home in Carey.
Doug was born on January 31, 1961, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Thomas E. and Nancy L. (Lucas) Noon, both of whom are deceased. He married Sandy Kiehl on September 11, 1981 in Vanlue, Ohio, and she survives, along with 2 daughters, Jennifer Noon of Carey, and Amanda Noon, and 2 grandchildren, Jazzlynn and Harlie, and a sister Nancy Jean Noon of North Carolina.
He was preceded by his parents, and a brother, Charles Noon.
Doug retired from Whirpool of Marion after working as a boiler operator and in maintenance.
He was a veteran having served in the Army National Guard for many years.
For hobbies, he enjoyed tending to his chickens, raising bees, and woodworking. Doug was always keeping busy around the house repairing various things, along with tinkering on various projects.
A gathering in celebration of Doug's life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, followed by a catered meal in the reception room at Lucas Batton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot Memorial Hospital and or the American Diabetes Association, and can be sent to Lucas Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.

Doug will be missed more than anything. He was a great father and grandfather. Doug you will be missed greatly. I wish I would have been able to come visit before you passed.
