E.W. Nance Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend George Lashley and Carl Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Nance Family Cemetery in the Macedonia community.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service on Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home.
He was the son of the late Bill Nance and Ruth Britt Nance and the husband of the late Nola Cribb Nance. He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Joanne Nance, William Tart Nance and Ruth Elene Nance.
He is survived by children, Billy Joe Nance (Pauline) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Sherrie Brock of Rocky Point, Tony Nance (Lisa) of Evergreen, Melissa Murdock (Mark) of Angier; Grandchildren, Traci Weaver (Scott) of Bessemer City, Jennifer Pruiett (Brian) of Charlotte, Christopher Sealey (Carrie) of Spruce Pine, Adam Hackett of Gastonia, Sean Pruiett of Lancaster, SC, McKayla Pruiett of Pineville, Samantha Pruiett of Pineville, Amanda Hackett of DeRidder, LA and Matt Weaver of Bessemer City, Roger Dale Brock Jr. of Smithfield, Zachery Benson of Wilmington, Paul Nance of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Kathy Bligh of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Curtis Nance (Nicole) of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Stacy Wells (Wayne) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Keirsten Nance of Evergreen and Allie Nance of Evergreen; great-grandchildren, Harlie Nance, Mia Wells, Kylie Wells, Jansen Brock, Kaleb Brock, Colton James Hall, and Andrew Brock.
