Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee - Mrs. Ina Faye Nance, 74, went home to be with her Savior, Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Mentone, Alabama, to Charlie Pell and Zelma Kilgore Pell, who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Robert V. Pell, James Pell, Fred Pell, Nimon Pell, Charles Pell, Lamar Pell, and Richard Pell; sisters, Laura Mae Black, Estelle Downer, Euna Freeman, and Dycie Long; stepson, Mike Nance; stepdaughter, Tammy Gipson.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie B. Nance; stepson, Greg (Rebecca) Nance; stepdaughters, Sharon (Anthony) Meeks and Sherri Nance; brothers, Kenneth (Jimmie) Pell and Leon Pell; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday October 31, 2025, at Layne Funeral Home in Palmer, Tennessee, in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Jack Nance and Jeremy Robinson officiating. The address for the funeral home is 32871 State Route 108, Palmer, Tennessee 37365.
Burial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday November 1, 2025, at Wesley's Chapel Cemetery in Fort Payne, Alabama. The cemetery is located near 4451 County Road 27, Fort Payne, Alabama 35968, on the corner of County Road 27 and County Road 899.
Visitation will be held 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home in Palmer, Tennessee, as well as 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday at Sand Mountain Holiness Church, located at 359 County Road 62 Section, Alabama 35771.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to any charity of your choice or where the Lord leads you.
