Elaine was born March 16, 1967 in Stanley, NC a daughter of the late Monika Asbury and Bobby Horn. Elaine enjoyed doing DYI crafts. She loved to laugh and joke with her friends and family. Her happiness was contagious. She truly lived each day as if it were her last. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Monika Asbury and Bobby Horn; her husband, James Blankenship; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Caroline Horn; and stepfather, Bill Asbury.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Monika Horn and fiancé Joseph Short of the home and Callie Mitchell and wife Melissa Tincher-Mitchell of Bolt WV; three brothers, Ronnie Horn of Richlands, VA, Bobby Horn and wife Sarah of Wayne, WV and David Horn of Craigsville, VA; two sisters, Miranda Adkins and husband John of Richlands, VA and Tammy Stumbo and husband Sherman of Paynesville, KY; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous friends that will miss her including Ruthann Mitchell, Karen Mitchell, Sabrina Witcher, Tamara Padgette and Janet and Ronald Cummings.
Elaine's body has been cremated and there will be no services at this time.
Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
