Elliott Jerome Proctor, 86, was born on April 22, 1938, in Sargent, Georgia, the son of the late James Anderson and Sallie Mills Proctor. He died on December 20, 2024.
Elliott was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years of marriage, Faith Hardegree Proctor, his sister Ellen Loner, brother Jack Proctor, and sister Shirley Camp. He is survived by his children Tracy Proctor Burch (Bill) and Chad Elliott Proctor (Tiffany Rutland), grandchildren Katelyn Faith Burch, William Proctor Burch, and Karson Reed Proctor, great-granddaughter Haisley Jae Burch, and brother Ronnie Proctor (Barbara).
Elliott was a United States Air Force veteran who retired from James River Corporation. He loved being on the lake, water skiing, and fishing. He turned his go-cart racing hobby into a business, building motors for area racers.
A graveside service will be held for immediate family and close friends on Saturday, December 28, 11:00 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brightmoor Hospice, Griffin, Georgia.
