Elvera Lucy Dibartolo

Elvera Lucy DiBartolo, a beloved resident of Farmington NM passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024, at the age of 92. Elvera was born Elvera Falletta on November 28, 1931 in New York City, NY. She married the love of her life Rosario DiBartolo on August 1, 1954. They were happily married for 60 years until the passing of Rosario on October 3, 2014. Elvera worked for many years as a teachers aid for special needs children in Leonia, NJ. She and her husband were well known and loved by so many in the small town of Leonia. In 1996, Elvera and Rosario retired and moved to Farmington NM to be closer to family and enjoyed spending time with them as well as countless new friends they made.

 

Elvera was a cherished mother and grandmother survived by her loving daughters Phyllis (David) Zimmerman and Michelle (Richard) Finn, granddaughters Caitlin (David) Cisneros and Kelsey Zimmerman, great grandchildren David Cisneros and Claire Cisneros, sister-in-law Jean Falleta and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Rosario DiBartolo and son Rossi DiBartolo. Elvera will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched. 

 

Mass will be held on Monday April 22, 2024 at 9:45 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by burial service at Memory Gardens
