Mrs. Emma was my landlord for six years. She along with her family welcomed me in her home with open arms. I cherish the memories of us sitting on her back porch exchanging stories and trading sweets. We always offered each other what we had. She was a good woman and was so good to me and I am eternally grateful for her and will miss her dearly. Mary Hooks, Weaverville, N.C.
