I met Eric in Yuma years ago, and he treated me and everyone else with respect. Years later, I had the honor of working with Eric at BP headquarters. He was kind, hard-working, humble, and always had a smile on his face. It seems like it was just yesterday that I went to his retirement party and met his family. It is hard to believe that he is gone. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

I knew Eric from working with him in Yuma, AZ. He was a humble and kind agent and man. Everybody that knew or met him was better for it. Rest in peace, amigo. My condolences to his loved ones that lost a good man.

One of the first people I met when I came aboard at Border Patrol HQ in 2016, Eric was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He never missed a chance to offer assistance to anyone he thought might need it. He was probably the most cheerful person in the building and always left you smiling.
He was smart, caring, and compassionate. Heaven gained an angel with this one.
Eric, you will be missed.

The word "Hero" is overused and its meaning is cheapened every time we misuse the word. If you want to know what a true hero is, Eric was a hero. Rest in Peace brother. You have truly been a good and faithful servant.

One of the best Journeymen/friends I had when I started out in Yuma so long ago. You showed us all what it meant to be a great agent and a great person. Thank you!
