Glen Thomas Mckenzie was born to Dee Mckenzie and Christine Mckenzie of Chidester, Arkansas on May 24th, 1944. He was called home on January 5th, 2023.
Glen attended the Church of God in the Bay Community. He attended Pleasant High School, and graduated from Oil Belt Vocational School for carpentry training. He worked in Stockton California with his Uncle in the Construction and building trades.
Glen enlisted and served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police in Okinawa, Japan.
Glen was the Father to five children Glendale Mckenzie, Kathy Mckenzie, Angie Mckenzie, Donna Mckenzie and Christopher Mckenzie.
Glen loved Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, and Cooking food.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Idell Teague, Eltzer Moten, David Mckenzie, a daughter: Angela Sanders and son: Christopher Mckenzie.
His children will forever cherish Glen's life and legacy, son: Glendale Mckenzie (Danielle) of California, daughters: Kathy Haygood (Dexter) and Donna Buffington (Patrick) both of Camden, Arkansas; his brothers: Raymond Mckenzie (Claudine) of Chidester, Arkansas and Nolan Mckenzie of Camden, Arkansas, and his sisters: Majioree Johnson (Lawrence) San Diego, California, Betty Mitchell (Taft) of Chidester, Arkansas, and Doris Gauff of San Diego California; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
